Today one of my dear friends gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Not only did this child hit the genetic lottery with his two gorgeous parents, but he is also going to be the best dressed infant known to man. I had the opportunity to look at some of the outfits picked out for him and it was like looking through Ryan Gosling's wardrobe. The fashion for children has come miles from when I was little. The things MY mother dressed me in should never be spoken of again. However, with so many high end children's lines out now and shows like "Toddlers and Tiaras" on air, how can we not treat our children like celebrities to make sure they are dressed to kill? It's all too tempting of an ordeal. Although there has been debate in the controversy of to doll your child up or not, I believe you can never start teaching fashion too young. Maybe the next generation will make Karl Lagerfeld look like the designer of Wal Mart. We can only hope.
Keep on trucking you fabulous dressing daddies and you fashion molding mommies.
Happy Birthday, baby Ellis :)
Congrats and good luck to Tara & Kyle.
